The 4th started a few days early when Meredith Goad of the Portland Press Herald arrived to interview Elaine for the special 4th of July edition. The next day famous photographer Fred Field came to the house and spent two hours photographing Elaine for the paper. |

The morning of the big day found us up early and headed across town to be interviewed on WLOB and Fox News Television |

Back to Freeport to decorate the car and have a little fun with some of the others parade participants! |
