| When services were scheduled for 22 year old fallen SGT Corey Dan word was recieved that the hate group from Kansas was planning to come to demonstrate at his funeral. Maine's response was immediate.The Patriot Guard Riders from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachuessets and Connecticut arrived with their flags in very cold weather. The veterans groups came from around the state and ordinary citizens arrived to show their support. There was no way the hate group would be able to get anywhere near the service. Word must have gotten out because they didn't show! | |
